Hello there Natalie,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! It looks like your trip to the Disneyland Resort is coming up in just a few days - you're going to have such a great time!
If you'd like the ability to switch between both parks during your visit, you will want to add the
Park Hopper option. With this option, you'll still set a
theme park reservation for your starting park, but then at 11:00 AM you'll be able to hop between both parks as you'd like (subject to park capacity). I am such a fan of the Park Hopper because it adds a lot of flexibility to visits and is fairly easy since both parks are right next to each other.
To get this added on, you will need to
call a Cast Member at the Tickets line. They'll be able to access your current ticket and let you know what your options might be. The Park Hopper option can be added on to most standard tickets and keep in mind that it does come with an additional fee, which the Cast Member at the Tickets line will be able to collect when you purchase the add on.
If you're a
Star Wars fan, make sure to stop by
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge during your trip! The
timeline of this land recently expanded so you'll now get to hear the iconic soundtrack and get to meet some of the most iconic characters from the original trilogy like Darth Vader, Luke, Han Solo, and Princess Leia. I'm headed to the parks next month with my family and very excited for this!
Thanks again for your question, Natalie! I hope you have a wonderful visit to the Happiest Place on Earth.
Have a Magical Day,
Greg
