Hello!! Where I can find mickey shaped waffle gluten and dairy free at Disneyland California area? Where I can find the allergy menu for the park restaurants and quick services? I could not find it on the regular Menu of Disney site. regards Flávia

    Olá, Flávia! Tudo bem?

Seja bem-vinda ao planDisney. Thanks for visiting us as you get ready for a magical visit to The Happiest Place on Earth!

My family and I love a great breakfast to help jumpstart the magic as we begin each day during our visits to the Disneyland Resort. In Disney California Adventure Park, some of our favorite breakfast spots are Smokejumpers Grill and Pym Test Kitchen. Both of those locations happen to have gluten/wheat allergy-friendly menus. Here's the breakfast menu for Smokejumpers Grill. And here's the menu for Pym Test Kitchen. At the Disneyland Resort, restaurants that have gluten-friendly menu items will usually have that selection further down on their online menus or the menus that you can find in the Disneyland mobile app. Some restaurants, especially buffet-style restaurants such as Storytellers Cafe, don't have a section of their online menus for allergy-friendly foods. In those restaurants, it is suggested that you ask to speak with a chef or other Special Diets Trained Cast Member to review available options.

Mickey Waffles and Minnie Waffles are more commonly found at restaurants in Disneyland Park, such as Carnation Café and Plaza Inn. If you are visiting Disney California Adventure Park and don't happen to have Park Hopper tickets to allow you to start in Disneyland Park then hop to Disney California Adventure Park after 11:00 AM, possible options to consider for Mickey Waffles are Storytellers Cafe, GCH Craftsman Grill, and GCH Craftsman Bar. Those three restaurants are located just inside of Disney's Grand Californian Hotel & Spa, which you can easily access from the park entrance located across from the Grizzly River Run attraction in Disney California Adventure Park. Unfortunately, none of those restaurants has gluten-friendly menus published online. But they still request that those requiring allergy-friendly options speak with a Cast Member about options. Note that while Disneyland Resort restaurants often take care to provide allergy-friendly options, those menu items will still be prepared in kitchens that can't guarantee that cross-contact with allergens won't occur.

Thanks again for stopping by planDisney, Flávia. We hope to hear from you again. Just in case you'd prefer to post questions em português, we've got a site for that too! After living in the northeast of Brazil for a few years, I always appreciate the opportunities I get to share recommendations and Disney vacation planning support for new friends from Brazil and elsewhere.

    Tchau, Flávia!
    ~Tony
