Welcome to planDisney, Sigri! I can see your visit to the Disneyland Resort is almost here, so let's get those last-minute details squared away.
If the
Disneyland app isn't letting you update the date for your
Lightning Lane Multi Pass purchase, I'd recommend contacting a friendly Cast Member for assistance. The
App & Online Support team can often help update your Lightning Lane Multi Pass so it matches your new reservation date. One thing to keep in mind: the price of a Lightning Lane Multi Pass add-on is date-specific. You will want to have a payment method available in case there is a difference in the price of your original date and your new reservation.
Sigri, I have a couple Q-Tips for you that will help you get the most of your Lightning Lane Multi Pass day! First, did you know that the first hour or two of the day typically offers some of the shortest attraction wait times? I would recommend using those initial hours to experience some of the more popular attractions before the crowds arrive. Then you can use Lightning Lane Multi Pass to revisit your favorites later in the day or experience other headliner attractions with shorter waits.
Second, you are able to hold multiple Lightning Lane selections at the same time. After making a reservation, you may book another experience either once you redeem your current selection or after two hours have passed since booking it (whichever comes first). For example, if you secure a late-afternoon return time for Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway early in the morning, you can still continue stacking additional Lightning Lane selections throughout the day. If you decide to use this strategy, I always recommend setting a quick phone reminder so you don’t miss your next booking opportunity.
Sigri, if more questions come up while planning your visit, please come see us again at planDisney. We'd be delighted to help you prepare for a magical trip.
I hope you have an unforgettable Disneyland adventure!
