Hello Carol, and welcome to planDisney!
Sometimes plans change; Hakuna Matata! That means “no worries.” I am more than happy to share what I know about changing your reservation dates for your vacation.
When it comes to modifying your theme park tickets, you can definitely do this. To modify the date of your unused, unexpired theme park ticket, log in to your
My Disney Experience account online. Ticket prices depend on the date and theme park you’ve selected, so you may have to pay the difference between the price of the original and new dates’ tickets.
Find your “Theme Park Reservations" in your online My Disney Experience account. Then select "Make or Modify Theme Park Reservations." Select the theme park reservation that you would like to modify and click "Modify Reservation." If the desired theme park is no longer available on the new date, keep trying. Mouseketeers change their dates all the time, so
availability can pop up even on the day of.
Carol, if you mean that you want to change the dates of your Walt Disney World Resort hotel stay, you can do this by logging in to your My Disney Experience account on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Select “My Plans” and then select the Resort hotel stay that you’d like to modify. Depending on the type of stay that you have, you may be able to modify it yourself online. I was able to do this once for a stay at
Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort. However, for one of my upcoming Resort hotel stays, it states that I need to call a listed phone number to modify or cancel.
I hope that you’ve found this information helpful. Please don’t hesitate to
ask us more Disney vacation planning questions here at planDisney. Any one of us would be happy to help you, Carol. See ya’ real soon!
Magic always,
LeAndra
