Hello, Raymond, and let me offer you a hearty welcome to planDisney where we love to help guests create their own Fairy tale vacations.
Raymond, I relish the early stages of planning a visit to Walt Disney World because the possibilities are endless! There is so much to see and do at all four theme parks and the many Disney Resort Hotels, so let's dive into your question.
Just in case you haven't yet booked your trip, the first step in securing a Disney vacation is to create a (complimentary)
My Disney Experience account. Through this account, you will manage your
theme park tickets and any additional plans such as
dining reservations. If you are planning to stay onsite at Walt Disney World at a
Disney Resort Hotel, you will also manage that reservation through this account.
If you're planning to visit one or more of the theme parks withOUT a hotel stay, tickets can be purchased and paid for through your My Disney Experience account. From the Walt Disney World website, hover over the tab labeled, "Parks & Tickets." Scroll down until you see, "Theme Park Tickets." From this page, click on the standard theme park ticket to view the options. You'll begin by selecting the number of days you'd like to visit a park and then the date of your first park visit. So, for example, if you'd like to visit
Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney's Hollywood Studios on two different days, you'd select a 2-day ticket. You'll then be prompted to indicate how many tickets you'll need (number of guests). When you click, "Continue" the ticket(s) will be added to your cart, and after confirming or declining some add-on options, you'll be taken to the payment screen where you can input a credit card or Disney Gift Card.
(Please note that all visits to a theme park before January 9, 2024, still require a Disney Park Pass reservation in addition to your valid theme park ticket. These can be secured immediately after purchase.) Raymond, if you have a package (theme park tickets and Disney Resort Hotel stay bundled together) the process is similar, but you'll begin by booking your Disney Resort Hotel and then the tickets will be an add-on option. For a package, you can secure your trip with a deposit and then return to your My Disney Experience account and
pay over time. You can do this by hovering over the words, "My Disney Experience," in the top right corner of the Walt Disney World website and then clicking on "My Plans." If you have a package, you'll see the option to make a payment.
I hope this helps as you continue to plan for your visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth. Please come on back with any additional questions. My fellow panelists and I would be happy to assist you again.
Lauren
