Hiya Ashley! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm excited you are planning a trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort! March is one of my favorite times of the year to visit. The weather is typically mild which makes exploring the parks much more enjoyable.
If you are only buying
park tickets, these will be nonrefundable upon your purchase. Typically, if discounts are applied to park tickets, they will be in the form of a Special Offer ticket. This will be categorized as a separate ticket purchase and can not be applied to an already purchased ticket package. If you are holding out hope of a ticket announcement for your stay, I suggest holding off on purchasing your tickets for the time being. Since
theme park reservations will not be required for date-based tickets beginning on January 9th, 2024, the urgency to buy your tickets in order to make park reservations has lessened.
However, if you are booking a vacation package that includes your Disney Resorts hotel reservation and park tickets, you can apply the discount at a later date when it becomes available. Essentially, you can book your stay worry-free and take advantage of a discount in the future.
Typically, the beginning of March brings the return of the
EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival! This has always been my favorite festival of the year and for countless reasons. EPCOT transforms into a beautiful display with colorful topiaries and flower displays all around. There are delicious outdoor kitchens that are lined throughout the park with a ton of tasty options. I always look forward to all the new additions each year!
Ashley, I hope you have a magical time during your visit next year!
