Having a countdown to your next visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth is so exciting, Teresa. Having said that, plans can and do change. Luckily, there are some options available to you should this happen. Let’s get right into it!
For date-based tickets, which is the type of
tickets that most Guests purchase, there is a start date associated to those tickets. This is chosen at the time of purchase. If, for whatever reason, that date was no longer possible for you, you can modify the start date of your tickets up until midnight EST of the day before your ticket’s first eligible use date. It’s important to note that changes are subject to the terms and conditions that were in place at the time you made your purchase, and that new charges may apply.
If your tickets are eligible to be changed, you should be able to make the changes directly from the
My Disney Experience app, or the My Disney Experience tab on the Walt Disney World Resort website. Simply navigate to your tickets and follow the prompts to change your start date. Please note that as of this writing, if your new date is more expensive, you will be required to pay the difference before confirming the change. If you do not see this option, you can always
contact Walt Disney World Resort directly, and a friendly cast member will be more than happy to help!
