Hi Julie!
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with such a great question about your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort!
Julie, you absolutely can mix and match the number and type of park tickets for your travel party. In fact, I’ve done it in the past when traveling with my own family! The only catch is that you must make a room-only reservation and then purchase your
theme park tickets separately, instead of booking a vacation package. When you reserve a vacation package, all Guests on the reservation must have the same theme park tickets.
While Guests who book a vacation package have exclusive access to
Magical Extras and certain
special offers, you can still enjoy the many
resort benefits included for all Guests staying at a
hotel in the Disney Resorts Collection with a room-only reservation, like complimentary parking at your resort hotel and at the theme parks, complimentary resort transportation, early booking windows for advanced dining reservations and Lightning Lane passes, and Early Theme Park Entry.
If you already booked a vacation package and now want to switch to a room-only reservation for more flexibility with your ticket purchases, you can check the
terms and conditions of your package for cancellation details or
call a Cast Member at Tickets and Hotel Reservations for assistance. In most cases, you can manage your reservation under "
My Plans" on the Walt Disney World website.
I hope this information has been helpful, Julie, and that you enjoy a wonderful visit to
The Most Magical Place on Earth! If you have any other questions, please stop by to see us again here at planDisney - we're all ears!
Cheers,
Kristi
