Welcome to planDisney, Mayra! I'm so glad to be able to answer your question about vacation packages today. There is some flexibility built into the booking of your trip, so let's chat about what happens if you find that you need to cancel your upcoming vacation.
Cancellation policies will vary depending on what kind of booking you have made. If you have booked a room at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel and didn't bundle it with Theme Park tickets, your cancellation needs to be confirmed at least 5 days before your arrival to receive a refund of your deposit. If you have booked a vacation package that includes a Resort Hotel reservation along with
Theme Park tickets, you will need to cancel your reservation 30 or more days before your trip to receive a refund of your deposit. Cancellations made 2 to 29 days before your trip will result in a cancellation fee of $200, and no-shows or cancellations less than 1 day in advance of your trip are non-refundable for the full package amount. These policies and dollar figures are subject to change so be sure to read your booking documents carefully to see how this policy applies to you. Theme Park tickets when purchased on their own are not refundable, but the date of use may be able to be modified to a time when it's better for you to visit.
Mayra, if you find yourself needing to cancel your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World Resort, my best advice for you would be to
contact Disney Resort Hotel Reservations and speak directly with a Disney Cast Member. They will be able to talk you through what options are available to you if a cancellation or modification of your trip is what you decide on.
Have a magical day, Mayra!
