Hi Mistie! Welcome to planDisney!! It's great to have you stop by!
I'm excited to hear you're planning a trip to the
Walt Disney World Resort in the new year! Let me start by saying, it is never too early to start the planning process! With everything that goes into booking a stay, the earlier you can start the better!
At this time, Disney does not offer any type of savings account or plan-ahead option for future trips. Your best bet will be to start a personal savings account on your own to put money toward your stay. Once you have solidified your dates, you can put this money toward an initial payment. When
booking your stay, Walt Disney World requires a deposit to hold your reservation. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your arrival date. You can make incremental payments in any amount you prefer leading up to your stay. You'll just need to make the final payment a month before your visit.
Mistie, you still have some time before bookings are available for 2024. Typically, new vacation packages for the following year are not released until late spring. I suggest following along with the
Disney Parks Blog for any news and announcements regarding new bookings.
If you have an idea of when you plan to visit, you can book your stay for these dates when reservations become available. Then, if the dates change, you can make modifications to your plans. You'll be able to make changes up to 30 days prior to your arrival without penalty. This way you can continue to make payments for your trip through the Walt Disney World website.
Mistie, I hope this information helps you when the time comes to book your vacation!
