The answer to your question is yes! The requirements for an Imagine Key (the level of
Magic Key available exclusively to Southern California residents) are that the keyholder live within the ZIP codes of 90000–93599. As your address falls within this area, you are eligible to purchase an Imagine Key through the Disneyland website. And, since you’re just a short drive from Disneyland, the Imagine Key could be a great option if you’re planning to visit several times throughout the year. Just keep in mind that Magic Key availability can vary!
To select the Imagine Key option, double-check that your account address is current. You can update it in the
Disneyland app or on the Disneyland website. If you’re also hoping to use the monthly payment option, make sure the credit card you’ll be using has a California billing address as well. Once those details are updated, select “Magic Key Passes” from the Magic Key drop-down menu on the Disneyland website. From there, click “Purchase Passes,” scroll down to “Purchase Now,” and you’ll see the Imagine Key option. Complete the checkout process, and just like that, you’re officially a Magic Key holder!
If you are planning your first opportunity to use your Imagine Key, I can think of no better time than during
Halloween Time at the Disneyland Resort. My wife and I just returned from a visit and it was a delightfully ghoulish time. One of our must-dos was Haunted Mansion Holiday, which debuted its new gingerbread house for the year. I won’t spoil it for you but the design was both eerie and fun. And of course, no visit would be complete without soaking up the glow of the purple trees at night in Disney California Adventure. They were both mysterious and magical.
