Hey there, Brian!
Thanks for bringing your question our way. I'm excited to hear (and just a little bit jealous) of your upcoming weekend visit. Your family is sure to have a wonderful time at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Guests of select Disney Resorts can purchase Lightning Lane Passes 7 days before their check-in date, while guests staying off-site can begin purchasing 3 days before their ticket start date. I'm guessing you were just alerted about purchasing passes, since your arrival/ticket start date is now 3 days away.
Unfortunately,
Lightning Lane Premier Pass is sold out at all parks between April 1 and 4, as I just shared with another disappointed guest. However, Lightning Lane Multi Pass was still available at Magic Kingdom Park, EPCOT, Disney's Hollywood Studios, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park through the end of next week, when I last checked. Multi Pass will require you to select arrival windows at 3 attractions to start, and will allow you to book additional attractions, one at a time, after redeeming one of your initial 3 selections (subject to availability).
Multi Pass does require a bit more pre-planning and monitoring during your visit, but it also comes at a much lower cost per person. Additionally, Premier Pass is also only available at a single park per day, while Multi Pass can be used to make selections at a second (or third or fourth) park after redeeming one of your initial selections, assuming you have Park Hopper Option tickets or an Annual Pass. I shared
details on all options here if you'd like more information.
I'm sorry I didn't have better news to share today, but I'm hoping it doesn't take away from your family's special time together. Remember, you can still experience all your favorite attractions using the standby queue. My family alternates between using Lightning Lane Passes and going with the flow solely on standby, and we always seem to make our time in line fun. My kids are big fans of the
Play Disney Parks app, which offers games, trivia, and entertainment specific to nearby attractions (and can even be used at home). We've spent plenty of time giggling our way through the
Toy Story Mania! queue trying to conquer all the challenges.
Brian, please come back and see us with any additional questions, and have a magical visit!
Magic and memories,
Amy
