Can vip tour hours be "split". Ie take time out for a midday nap? I'd like to start early, break, end after fireworks.

Greetings, Kathy, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for bringing your question to us about VIP tours. Let's get right to it!

Disney Private VIP Tours are the ultimate way to visit Walt Disney World. If you want to get a lot done in a little time, this is the way to go if it's within your budget. These tours are highly customizable. A planner will call you prior to your arrival to work with you on your itinerary for the day. You can choose which attractions you want to prioritize, and you can visit multiple parks on the tour as long as your theme park admission includes the Park Hopper option. You can book them for any length of time from 7 to 10 hours, and you get to pick your start time. However, once the clock starts, it doesn't stop until the tour ends. This includes meals or other breaks and transportation between the parks.

I know this isn't the answer you were hoping for, yet I have some other ideas for you. It sounds like you're a fan of rope dropping, which is what Disney fans lovingly refer to as being there as soon as the park opens for the day. This is an excellent time to experience some popular attractions with wait times lower than what you would normally see throughout the day. You could go ahead and rope drop a park, go back to your hotel for a nap and then start your VIP tour mid-afternoon.

As an alternative, you could also choose to purchase a Lightning Lane Premier Pass for one or more days of your trip. This will allow you to experience all Lightning Lane attractions in the park for which you purchased the Premier Pass for that day. Because you don't need to make a reservation for each attraction, you can choose when you'd like to experience each one. So, you could do a few in the morning, go back to your hotel for a nap and then finish up later that day. You could even add on one of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties for reserved viewing to see Happily Ever After. While these options aren't quite as luxurious as a VIP tour, they'll still make you feel like a VIP.

Kathy, I hope this has been helpful for you and that you have a great time. Please come back and visit us with any other planning questions you have.

    Have a magical trip!
