Adele from AZ Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Do you buy preferred parking in advance or when you get there? I won’t be staying at a Disney resort. Thanks.

Hello, Adele, and thanks for stopping by planDisney! Your Walt Disney World Resort adventure is coming up in just a few days, so I hope your Mickey Mouse suitcase is packed. It sounds like you're planning to soak up some magic in the theme parks, so let's talk about where you can park your enchanted carriage.

All parking fees are paid at the entrance of each theme park, so advance purchase is not available. Pricing can vary based on the season and is always subject to change, but current prices on the website are $30 for standard parking and $45-$55 for preferred parking.

My tip is to opt for preferred parking, especially if you plan to use the Park Hopper Option. The spots are much closer to the park entrances and will save you time and steps!

The best news is that no matter which parking level you choose, you can use your parking pass all day at all four theme parks. Show your receipt to come and go between parks as much as you'd like. Who says you can't do it all?

During a family visit last week, I parked at all four parks and used the My Disney Experience mobile app's Car Locator feature. From the welcome screen, scroll to the "Getting Around" section and select "Car Locator" to enter the exact section and row where you parked. Knowing where to go is so convenient at the end of a fun-filled Disney day. Besides, you don't want your carriage to turn back into a pumpkin before you can find it!

Adele, I'm sending pixie dust your way so you'll have a fantastic visit. Please stop by planDisney anytime. I'll be parked and waiting in Moana 305!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
