Hi there, Madeline! Welcome to planDisney. We're happy you're here!
I love every part of planning my trips to
Walt Disney World Resort, from deciding which Disney Resorts Collection hotel to call "home" to picking out which meals and snacks I'm looking forward to. It sounds like you're making similar plans and are hoping to bring a small cooler with you into the parks! Madeline, I'm happy to let you know that you're welcome to bring a cooler as long as it follows the
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules:
- It must not be larger than 24" long, 15" wide, and 18" high (61 cm long, 38 cm wide, and 46 cm high). This includes any wheels or handles.
- Loose or dry ice is not permitted in your cooler. It is recommended that you bring reusable ice packs. You could even use frozen plastic water bottles!
- Any containers brought into Walt Disney World Resort cannot be made of glass.
- Note that your cooler will need to go through security and may receive an additional check.
Before you arrive, I'd suggest that you think through a few options regarding your cooler, including where your cooler will be stored while you enjoy rides and attractions in the parks! For this reason, my best tip would be to bring a small, soft cooler that can easily be packed and stored away when not in use. Additionally, you may want to take a little time to download and explore the
My Disney Experience app before you arrive! This app will allow you to
mobile order meals and snacks while you're on the go, as well as view park maps, check wait times for attractions, and access
virtual queues.
If you have any other questions, please write to us again!
You've got a friend in me,
