A little like Rapunzel, I love to paint, explore the great outdoors, and I have magic hair that glows when I sing. Living in the land of Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood lets me enjoy the perks of both city life and the great outdoors, so my husband and I can be found trying out hidden gems in downtown Pittsburgh or kayaking in nearby lakes. I'm a writer by day and my after-hours include diving deep into Disney history – from the artwork of Mary Blair to the masterminds of Imagineering!
About My Family
We're a happy family of two! Like Carl and Ellie, my husband and I understand that adventure is out there for families of all sizes. As a military spouse, we’ve traveled to galaxies far, far away but have made some of our most magical memories at Walt Disney World Resort! We’re always looking for opportunities to drop everything and become kids again, so you can often find us avoiding stormtroopers in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge or battling each other for first place on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin (my husband would tell you he always wins, but don't believe him)! When it’s time to unwind back at home, we can usually be found reading books out loud together, reciting every line of our favorite movies, or planning our next Disney vacation – whether it's at Walt Disney World Resort, sailing on Disney Cruise Line, or dreaming of another adventure at the Disneyland Resort!
About My Disney Experience
Some of my most favorite moments shared with my most favorite people have taken place at The Most Magical Place on Earth! As a child, I visited Magic Kingdom Park with my family and my aunt (who flew in from Germany!) where we rode Haunted Mansion and picked up hitchhiking ghosts. I watched the faces of my nieces and nephews light up in wonder as we went Soarin’ Around the World in EPCOT. Some of my best friends and I explored Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge in Disney's Hollywood Studios where we piloted, crashed, and burned in the Millennium Falcon. My husband and I love to explore the hidden gems in Animal Kingdom Theme Park, late at night, when Pandora - The World of Avatar literally glows from the ground up. The backdrop to some of my most treasured core memories has always been, and always will be, Walt Disney World Resort.
