Keys to the Kingdom Tour is on my must-do list as well. It would be amazing to learn more about the history and hidden details of the
Magic Kingdom.
If there aren't any open reservations for the date of your visit, don't give up hope just yet! Vacation plans can be fluid, and cancellations do happen, so it pays to keep checking. I would recommend searching up to the day before you would like to tour, as the experience does have a 24-hour cancellation policy. You may stumble onto some magic.
I recommend checking both the
Walt Disney World website and the
My Disney Experience app for availability, as plans can change and new openings may appear. Both locations would have the most current info on tour availability. If you are not able to secure a tour date prior to arriving, you still have another option available! Stop by Town Square Theater first thing on the morning of your Magic Kingdom visit and ask about making a same-day reservation. While this is not a guarantee, there may be limited availability.
One final note for you if you are able to secure a spot on the tour: make sure you capture any photos to commemorate the moment before the tour begins. Photography and videography are not permitted during the Keys to the Kingdom Tour. However, the tour itself will have plenty of sights to see as well as magical and memorable moments that your family will discuss for years to come.
