I bought lightnight lane for magic kingdom and we are going to Epcot tomorrow and it won’t let me switch it

Welcome to planDisney, Katie! You're in the midst of the magic at Walt Disney World Resort, so let's talk about modifying your Lightning Lane Multi Pass. Unlike they sang in Frozen 2, some things DO change, including theme park plans!

As you know, guests purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for a specific theme park and make their first three selections at that time. Since you've decided to head to a different park, you should be able to switch to a new park using your My Disney Experience mobile app. You'll pay any price increase, but won't be refunded if the new park costs less.

I just returned from the theme parks and modified my attraction choices in the app; I didn't switch theme parks, so I haven't had firsthand experience. I chatted with a helpful Cast Member who said you'll open your app and tap the Lightning Lane Passes tile on the Welcome screen to get started. You should see an option to modify your selections near the bottom of the screen. Once you click that, you'll select the guests you're making the change for, and then the date and park you want to modify.

If you need help, I find the app's Chat With Us feature quick and useful. Scroll to the bottom of the Welcome screen to the Help & Feedback section to begin a chat. If you've not entered a park yet, you can also stop by Guest Relations at any entrance for assistance. Modifications are always subject to availability, but the good news is that you can usually see attraction options before you make a final decision.

I was surprised to find new times for attractions to drop throughout the day, so if you can't book a ride or time you want, keep checking. My family stayed offsite this visit, so Tiana's Bayou Adventure wasn't available when my three-day window opened. But I checked the day before our Magic Kingdom Park day and secured a time to splash down the bayou mid-morning!

Katie, I hope you can switch parks and enjoy a fabulous day at EPCOT. I can vouch for the yumminess of the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival offerings! Please come back to planDisney anytime.

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
