I bought a Disneyland Ticket for my grandson and booked his reservation on my disney.go.com account. How do I transfer his ticket to his parents?

    Hello, Heather!

Thanks for bringing a question to us here at planDisney. It sounds like you’re well on your way to planning a perfectly pixie-dusted visit to the Disneyland Resort for your family. Your grandson is a lucky boy!

Since you’ve already taken care of purchasing his theme park ticket and making his theme park reservation, you can simply forward a screenshot of the Disney eTicket to your grandson's parents or provide them with the ticket ID number so they can link it to their Disneyland mobile app. Linking the ticket is preferable so they can have easy access when using the ticket to enter the theme parks or using Lightning Lane entrances.

Here are the instructions for linking a ticket that you can share with your grandson’s parents. Launch the Disneyland mobile app, tap the three stacked lines near the bottom right of the screen, and then select the “My Tickets & Passes” section. Tap the “+” symbol in the upper right corner and use the “Link Tickets & Passes” button to add the ticket. Lastly, either scan the pass barcode with the smartphone’s camera or manually type the ID numbers.

I hope this information is helpful, Heather, and that your visit to The Happiest Place on Earth is a dream come true! Please feel free to write back with more questions as your trip draws near.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
