Welcome back to planDisney, Colleen! You have a
Walt Disney World Resort visit coming up in a few days, so I hope you're starting to gather your Minnie ears. How fun that you're using
Lightning Lane passes! My family and I used them a few weeks ago and were thrilled with the shorter wait times. More time for eating snacks, am I right?
I'm sorry you booked some Lightning Lanes for a guest who won't be able to use them. I chatted with a helpful Cast Member who said Lightning Lane Multi and Single Passes are nonrefundable. Still, he suggested you call the
Existing Tickets line about your options.
He said you might be able to transfer the passes to another guest or use them for a future visit. They might also be able to arrange a refund or credit, but that's not guaranteed. They'll consider your admission type and the passes you've purchased to make that decision. I'm wishing on a star you'll work out a practically perfect solution.
When I recently used Lightning Lane Multi Pass, I had my app open and ready to choose my next attraction the minute I scanned in at the current one. It was easy to forget to do so in the excitement of boarding a ride, but my family wanted to use the pass for as many attractions as possible. We found that
Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney's Hollywood Studios worked best for us with the Multi Passes. There are plenty of exciting attractions to choose from at those parks.
Colleen, I hope you have a fantastic visit. Please
stop by planDisney anytime! You're always as welcome as can be.
Magic awaits,
Elaine
