Can a tent/ pop up site accommodate a 17ft travel trailer? No sewer hook up needed.

Circle the wagons, Sherri, and welcome to planDisney! The Campsites and Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort are a rootin' tootin' good time, so let's see what equipment is allowed on your site.

I spoke to a cowpoke Cast Member who said you'd be good to go as long as your travel trailer will fit on the 10' by 25' pad. There's also room off the pad for up to two tents, so feel free to bring along some shade.

You know there won't be sewage hookups at your site, but the good news is that there are restrooms and showers at a Comfort Station near those loops for your convenience.

I also did an online search, and there are a few dump stations at truck stops and state parks within 25 miles or so from Walt Disney World Resort. Some may charge for the service, but that might be an option to plan for.

There are also pet-friendly sites, so if you're bringing your pup, call Disney Resort Hotel Reservations to request one of those sites. You'll pay a small pet fee, and there's a dog park so your furry pal can have his own adventures.

One experience on my bucket list is the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue at this resort. You can book this rip-roaring dinner show 60 days before and mosey over easily from your site. If you go, let me know how you like it!

Sherri, I'm sending pixie dust and roasted marshmallows so you'll have the wildest campout in the wilderness on your upcoming visit. Please stop by planDisney anytime!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
