Disneyland Hotel Royal Banquet

I have booked a Disney character dining experience for my family of 5 over lunchtime at the Royal Banquet. I was wondering if some of us are able to opt out of eating and just have drinks with others pay to eat. Thanks!

    Welcome to planDisney, Emma!

How exciting that you are less than two months away from saying bonjour to Disneyland Paris! In my opinion, Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland Paris is the fairest of them all, so be sure to take plenty of photos! Oh, and if you're feeling particularly brave, don't forget to check out the dragon who lives in the dungeons below. In addition to snapping yet another photo (my husband's words, not mine) with a Castle during each Disney vacation, I also prioritize saying hello to my favorite characters at Disney Destinations around the world, and character dining is a great way to do just that without queueing!

At Royal Banquet you'll be greeted by Mickey, Minnie, and their closest friends dressed to impress in their royal finery during your meal. Because the character interactions are factored into the cost of the all-you-can-eat meal, all Guests included in the booking and seated at the table will be charged for the meal regardless of how much food they enjoy. So, if a member of your party is not planning to dine, then unfortunately, they will need to be removed from the booking. In my experience, the convenience, magic, and menus of character dining experiences are always worth it!

If anyone in your party opts out of the meal but would still like to immerse themselves in the beauty and elegance of the Disneyland Hotel while you dine, they won't want to miss Fleur de Lys Bar. It features a wonderful menu offering a variety of cocktails, mocktails, and coffee drinks as well as sweet and savory snacks.

I hope this was helpful, Emma, and that your visit to Disneyland Paris is practically perfect! If any additional questions arise as you finalize your plans, feel free to stop back by planDisney. I'm always happy to help!

    Au revoir,
    Lizzie
