Can I book a WDW hotel now and add the tickets later through my reservation? Will the tickets cost more later?

    Hi Elizabeth,

Thank you so much for visiting planDisney with your question. We on the panel love helping guests to plan magical Walt Disney World vacations!

I love that you are thinking ahead about the best way to plan your Walt Disney World trip. You can absolutely do what you are suggesting. You can make a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel reservation now, and later, you can purchase Walt Disney World theme park tickets and link them together. You would simply need to link both of those to your My Disney Experience account. My family has done this many times and it works really well.

While I am not aware of any plans for there to be ticket price increases for Walt Disney World, these do sometimes happen and we do not know when they will occur.

You also may want to check out the Disney World Special Offers page. On this page, you may find deals on resort hotels, theme park tickets, and sometimes packages. You may find that one of these deals makes financial sense for your travel party. Do be sure to check the dates and availability for any of these deals. I always make it a habit to check this page to see if any of the offers are right for my travel party before I book a trip to Walt Disney World!

Elizabeth, I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you. Please feel free to come back to planDisney if you have any further questions!
