Information on buying tickets for a gift.

Welcome to planDisney, Crystal! And what a fabulous friend you are to buy Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Tickets for some special people. They've got a friend in you! Let's look at ways to make that happen.

You can purchase tickets for another guest online by hovering over the Parks & Tickets tab at the top of the screen. Choose Theme Park Tickets and specify the number of days, ticket type, number of tickets, and the age of each guest. On the Checkout page, you'll see an option for "This order will be a gift." You'll provide guests' first and last names as they appear on their government IDs, and a gift receipt will be emailed to you within 48 hours. You can forward the email to them so they can link the confirmation number to their My Disney Experience accounts.

I see you're a Florida resident, Crystal, and so am I! And while we enjoy the discounts and perks of being residents, remember that you can only purchase Florida resident tickets for other Florida residents. So, if your recipients are from somewhere other than the Sunshine State, you'll choose Standard Theme Park Tickets for them.

Depending on the ticket type, you might be asked to choose a specific date and theme park for the ticket. Although the recipients will probably be able to make changes, I have another recommendation that offers more flexibility. You can purchase a Disney Gift Card so your friends can better customize the theme park tickets to their schedules. You could have a physical card sent to them, or gift cards can be sent electronically. They can use the card for food and merchandise during their visit if they have any leftover funds. It's the gift that keeps on giving!

I hope I've offered some ideas for giving the gift of Disney, Crystal. It's like you'll be a magical Fairy Godmother! Please stop by planDisney anytime. I'm happy to share my pixie dust!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
