Hi there, Bri! Welcome to planDisney!
One of the best things about staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection Hotel is the convenient complimentary
transportation options available to whisk you away to the theme parks. Every resort hotel has at least one mode of complimentary transportation to take Guests to each of the four
Walt Disney World Resort theme parks.
Bus transportation is available at all
value resort hotels for Guests wishing to visit
Magic Kingdom Park.
Bus service begins 45 minutes before the theme parks open each morning. While your resort hotel room likely won't be ready for you until later in the afternoon, you're welcome to park your car at the resort as early as you need to on your arrival day. Just stop by your resort hotel's front desk to let the Cast Members know that you are checking in and will be parking a vehicle during your stay. Once you check in at the front desk, you can be on your way to catch the bus to Magic Kingdom Park. It is also worth mentioning that
standard theme park parking is free for registered Guests of Disney resort hotels, so if you would prefer to drive yourself to and from Magic Kingdom Park that is also an option.
If you need help deciding which resort hotel to call your home away from home, check out our
Disney Resort Hotels Pocket Guides under the Panel Extras section of our planDisney website. These guides offer an informative overview of each resort hotel so that you can decide which one is right for you. If you're looking at value resorts, my favorite is
Disney's Pop Century Resort. The colorful, larger-than-life theming is really fun, and the rooms are modern with lots of storage space and comfy beds. Also, Disney's Pop Century Resort is located along the
Disney Skyliner route, so if you decide to add a day at
EPCOT or
Disney's Hollywood Studios onto your trip, you'll have this convenient transportation mode to get you there.
Bri, if you have any other questions as you plan for your trip, please feel free to
visit planDisney again at any time. My fellow panelists and I are all ears! See ya real soon!
