Hi Collin!
We're so glad to welcome you to planDisney today. I'd be happy to walk you through the
Lightning Lane Pass booking process.
When purchasing Lightning Lane Multi Pass the initial 3 attractions must be the same for each guest in your party. However, you can go back and modify one or more of your experiences, subject to availability, after booking. I
explained the process to another guest here.
Let's say you and your son want to experience the thrills of Space Mountain but your wife would rather giggle at some epic puns on Jungle Cruise instead. You'd book all three of you on one of those attractions and then go back in to modify the appropriate guest(s) to a different experience right after booking. The new time slot might not be exactly the same, but I'm hopeful you'll find something for everyone to enjoy within a similar window.
I'd also like to remind you about the
attraction groupings when considering your initial 3 selections. Once you all redeem your first attraction you can make additional same-day selections for some or all of your group as you like, subject to availability.
One more tip: though you can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Single Pass selections in a single transaction per day, it's best to
book Single Pass experiences in a separate transaction if all guests don't want to ride. These purchases can be modified based on availability, but are considered non-refundable.
I hope this helped Collin. Please come back and see us again with more planning questions. We're always here ready to assist!
Magic and memories,
Amy
