If I book a Lightening Lane Multipass selection for 9am and my family over sleeps and we miss it, will I be able to book another ride once we wake up?

Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Catherine! I'm originally from Kentucky, so a great big Bluegrass welcome to you. You arrive for your Walt Disney World Resort visit in a few days, so let's talk about utilizing Lightning Lane passes to get the most magic from every second.

My family has used Lightning Lane Multi Passes a few times, and we love the flexibility. We once modified our passes while traveling aboard the Disney Skyliner to EPCOT. I even scanned into Twilight Zone Tower of Terror a few days ago but took the "chicken elevator" down. I only wanted to scan in so I could choose our next attraction! Once you've used the pass system several times, you'll discover what works best for your family.

I chatted with a sleepyhead Cast Member who said that once the first pass is used or expires, you should be able to make your next selection. However, she said you might not be able to book the next one as soon as the one-hour use window closes because it might take the system a few minutes to process that it wasn't used. I suggest you try to book your next attraction the second you wake up!

Another option is to change the selection to a later time slot, if available. You can do this on the mobile app by selecting the option to modify your choices. You could wait to see how late your family stays up the night before to gauge whether they'll be bright-eyed and ready to roll in the morning!

A couple of policies to remember: You can only use your passes to scan into an attraction once, and every guest you bought the Multi Pass for must have the same three initial passes at the time of purchase. I've found that some of the more popular rides will sell out of passes, so be sure to snag any must-dos while they're available. Once you're in the parks, please stop by the blue Guest Experience Team umbrellas with any questions.

Catherine, I'm wishing on a star that your visit is practically perfect. Thanks again for stopping by planDisney. Go Cats...or Cards, lol!

    Magic awaits,
    Elaine
