Hi Sofia!
Welcome to planDisney!
If you purchase date-based
theme park tickets, in which you choose the start date of your ticket, you will not need to make park reservations. But, if you have a ticket type that requires
park reservations, you will only need to make a park reservation for the very first park you plan to visit each day.
As soon as you scan into that park, you will be able to hop to any other park of your choice (pending park capacity) as long as you have a valid
park hopper ticket linked to your account. There’s no need to wait until 2 PM unless you want to!
Having a park hopper will be such a fun way to experience all the
holiday festivities at the parks. Each of the 4 theme parks celebrates the holidays in its own unique way. I was lucky enough to be there last week, and we really enjoyed seeing the differences between the parks. Plus, the
Festival of the Holidays will still be in full swing at Epcot, which is always so special.
If you have time during your trip, don’t miss out on the
holiday fun at Disney Springs and seeing some of the incredible holiday decor at the
Disney World resorts. I highly recommend heading over to Disney World’s newest lounge,
The Perch, at the Grand Floridian to have a cocktail (or mocktail!) and enjoy the holiday vibes.
Have the best trip! If you have any other questions, let us know. We’re always happy to help!
