How do I book adjoining rooms at Port Orleans Riverside. I don't see option to book two rooms online. We want to take our married son, his wife and two kids and ourselves. We need rooms next to each other or very close.

Hi there, April! Welcome to planDisney. I am so excited to hear you wish to book a vacation to Walt Disney World Resort and stay at Disney's Port Orleans Resort-Riverside! If you haven't stayed here before, you are in for a magical time!

I understand you want adjoining rooms for you and your son's family. One of the great things about being a guest at Walt Disney World is that Cast Members try to go to infinity and beyond to make sure all guests are taken care of. Since this is a request that cannot be easily done from your home computer, I suggest calling the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations Desk and making your reservations over the phone. The Cast Member will make a note of adjoining rooms to your reservation, and while requests aren't always guaranteed, they will do their best to get two rooms as close as possible!

Now, let's talk all about the fun at Port Orleans-Riverside! I suggest taking a photo of the Resort Activities Guide as soon as you arrive (it's usually in the lobby). Here, you can find the dates and times of many fun activities to do, such as Movies Under The Stars, and Campfire on de-Bayou out on Ol'Man Island. Take a  leisurely walk down to Port Orleans Resort-French Quarter one evening, and stop at Scat Cat's Club Café for some Mickey-shaped beignets, and listen to some great jazz music! One great perk about staying at this resort is that Disney Springs is a boat ride away. Sail down the Sassagoula River to Disney Springs on your off-park day, and experience wonderful dining, shopping, and entertainment. Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' is a family favorite, and don't forget to get in the virtual queue for Gideon's Bakehouse, and bring back some delicious cookies to snack on during your visit (their banana chocolate chip cookie is what dreams are made of!).

I hope this information and magical tips help you begin planning what I am sure will be the most "practically perfect" visit to Walt Disney World. Stop by planDisney again at any time with other questions before your visit, you've got a friend in me!

    Happy Planning!
