We will be staying at two hotels during our trip. Is it possible to transfer our luggage from Disney’s All-Star Sports Resort to the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel?

    Hey there, Yuka!

I’m so happy to welcome you to planDisney, and I appreciate you bringing your question our way. My family actually does split-resort stays quite often, and we really enjoy them! It’s a great way to experience more than one Disney Resort during a trip, and it almost feels like getting two vacations in one.

While Bell Services is able to transfer luggage between Disney Resort hotels, that service is only available for Disney Resorts Collection properties, and unfortunately, the Dolphin Hotel isn’t included in that program.

I know that may not be the news you were hoping for, and it’s definitely a bit of a Bibbidi Bobbidi bummer. It can make split stays a little trickier when one of the resorts isn’t part of the Disney system, but there are still some easy ways to handle it.

If you won’t have access to a car during your stay, the most convenient option for transferring your luggage between resorts would be using a rideshare service from All-Star Sports Resort to the Dolphin. Many Guests find this to be a simple and efficient way to move bags directly from one hotel to the next, especially when timing check-out and check-in between resorts.

It looks like your vacation will be at the very beginning of the holiday season, which also happens to be one of my favorite times of year to visit Walt Disney World! If you’re hoping to attend any special ticketed events like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party or Jollywood Nights, I’d recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog. That’s typically where Disney makes the first official announcements, including event dates, details, and ticket release information.

Yuka, if any other questions come up as you continue planning your trip, please remember you’re always welcome here at planDisney!
