Yo ho, yo ho, Charlene!!
Welcome to planDisney!
Arrrr, the
Blue Bayou Restaurant is a treasure, isn't it? This Creole girl has been loving that place since she was a wee Mouseketeer. I can almost catch a whiff of the barge water now, the firefly lights twinkling, and the
Pirates of the Caribbean boats drifting by. And, of course, the mouthwatering flavors of the Crescent City gracing every plate – it's a true feast for the senses!
Now, Charlene, Blue Bayou reservations are like a coveted chest of doubloons. It's a very popular place and getting a reservation has always been tough. I checked for the next 60 days and for your visit on June 19th, but unfortunately, there are no tables available.
But fear not, me matey! My pal,
Panelist Amanda D, a seasoned sailor and reservation plunderer, shared a valuable secret. Sometimes, the Blue Bayou might open reservations to tables closer to the date, even though the resort usually opens them up
60 days in advance.
I would encourage you to keep a weather eye on
the dining website as your visit draws near. Also, if the online booking is full, you can try showing up at the restaurant when they open to see if they have any available tables for the day.
I know it's not the news you were hoping for, Charlene. But please feel free to
send me another question, and I'll get you a quick answer. I'd love to share more of
my favorite tips to help make your Disney dreams come true!
Fair winds and following seas,
Danielle
