Hiya Yessika,
Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us.
There are several dining options at the
Disneyland Resort. These dining locations are split into two categories - Quick Service and Table Service. Quick service locations do not require an
advanced dining reservation, and some even have mobile orders for Guests to use through the Disneyland app. Table service locations require an advanced dining reservation (which can be made up to 60 days before the visit date) due to popularity and demand. These locations may not be able to accommodate walk-ins due to the high number of reservations they receive each day. The restaurants will be labeled either “Quick Service” or “Table Service” under “Dining Experience" in the
Disneyland app or under the restaurant name on the
official Disneyland website.
However, if you are unable to secure a dining reservation at a preferred restaurant before your visit, you may be able to join the
Mobile Dine Walk-Up List! Certain dining locations (such as
Blue Bayou Restaurant and
Lamplight Lounge) have a walk-up list that guests can join (either at the restaurant or through the Disneyland app) to fill in any remaining tables at different times throughout the day! The walk-up list is first come, first serve, so be sure to go directly towards the restaurant at rope drop to make it onto the list!
Don’t forget to check for guest cancellations! In the past, I’ve had luck checking the day before for last-minute reservations to popular locations such as
Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar! I like to periodically check throughout the day, as guests will cancel up to 24 hours before their dining reservation. Once the reservation is available, be sure to grab it quickly, as other guests are also hoping for cancellations to come through and will grab it as soon as possible!
If you have other questions about the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
