MagicBands are a stylish accessory that adds a great deal of convenience to your Disney World vacation! The non-rechargeable previous versions of MagicBands have been phased out. They have been replaced with the new version,
MagicBand+. These come with chargers and can be reused during future visits to Disney World! I’ve been using my MagicBand+ for about three years now!
Guests can purchase MagicBand+ at
Disneystore.com, where they will find a nice variety from which to choose! I’m loving the new R2D2 and the Cinderella Castle bands! Also, Guests with reservations to stay at a Walt Disney World Resort hotel have access to discounted MagicBand+ through their My Disney Experience account.
Nicole, if you’d prefer to pass on purchasing the MagicBand+, you can use
Disney MagicMobile on your mobile device. You can use MagicMobile for similar purposes as a MagicBand, such as entering theme parks and redeeming Lightning Lane passes. Just open the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device. On the menu, select “Set Up MagicMobile Entry” and follow the prompts. There is also a great video on setting up and using MagicMobile through the link I provided above.
