Do you get a magic band with your club level resort reservation and park hopper tickets?

    Hi Jan!

Welcome to planDisney!  Oh boy, oh boy - it sounds like you are well on your way to planning a magical visit to Walt Disney World Resort!  I bet you can't wait to stroll Main Street, U.S.A. and enjoy the fireworks views of Cinderella Castle.  Or maybe you're most excited to race through time and save the galaxy over in EPCOT?  However you choose to spend your Disney days, I hope each one is sprinkled with a bit of pixie dust!

Jan, I had the opportunity to experience Club Level at Disney's Beach Club Resort a few years ago, and it was absolutely amazing.  Being able to enjoy breakfast, snacks, and evening cocktail hours in the Club Level Lounge was a really nice addition to the resort stay, and the Cast Members who were assisting with concierge services could not have been more wonderful.  While there are many great benefits to a Club Level stay and a vacation package that includes your theme park tickets, unfortunately, MagicBands are not included.  If you don't already have a MagicBand+, you can easily purchase one for yourself and each member of your travel party in your My Disney Experience.  When you view your resort reservation in the My Disney Experience Mobile App, you should see an option to "Choose MagicBands" just beneath the countdown to your trip.  If you're viewing your reservation on the Walt Disney World website, you can select "My MagicBands and Cards" under the "My Disney Experience" menu to complete your order.

MagicBand+ can act as your theme park ticket, room key, and payment method. . .all with just a quick tap of the wrist.  However, you'll find that MagicBand+ is not only a functional, but also a fun, addition to your trip!  I love the bright lights and haptic vibrations that let me know something special is happening around me, along with all the cute designs!  Like Ariel collecting her whozits and whatzits galore, I've accumulated a collection of MagicBands over the years and have fun mixing and matching them throughout my vacation, depending on the park I'm visiting and the outfit I'm wearing.

While using MagicBand+ has always been my preference, you do not need to purchase one for your trip.  In fact, my husband and my oldest son each have their own favorite ways to access the magic during our stays.  My husband likes using the Disney MagicMobile Service, which allows him to create a pass that he stores in his digital wallet - essentially turning his phone and smartwatch into his theme park ticket for the day.  My oldest son still likes to use a Key to the World Card, which can be requested from the Front Desk at check-in.  These plastic cards can easily fit in a wallet or lanyard and serve the same essential purposes as MagicBand+.

I hope this information has been helpful, Jan, and that you enjoy making many magical memories during your visit to Walt Disney World!  You've got a friend in me here at planDisney, so please stop by again if you have any other questions!

    To Infinity and Beyond!
