You're already off to a great start with a
Lightning Lane Multi Pass to help you zoom through the attraction queues. It sounds like you might be familiar with the Family & Friends list that is used in the My Disney Experience app for Walt Disney World Resort. The
Disneyland app is similar, but there are some differences.
While you aren't able to link accounts in the Disneyland app, you can link your tickets to make booking Lightning Lane selections a breeze throughout the day. To start, open the app and tap the "☰" to open the menu. Next, tap the "My Tickets & Passes" tile, followed by the "+" in the upper right corner. Tap "Link Tickets & Passes" to take you to the screen where you can add your friend's ticket. I like to use the camera option to quickly scan the ticket barcode for linking. Both you and your friend can do this with each other's tickets, so you each have the option of making Lightning Lane selections for both of you.
Now, let's talk about how you
can maximize your use of Lightning Lane Multi Pass. You can make your first Lightning Lane selection as soon as you've scanned your ticket and have entered the park. You can make your next selection as soon as you've redeemed your selection, or 2 hours after you've made your selection. I also like to set an alarm on my phone to remind me to make my next selection. Keep an eye on availability for some of the more popular attractions to ensure you don't miss out on securing your Lightning Lane entry for these attractions. These include Indiana Jones Adventure, Space Mountain and Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT! I'll often try to book these as soon as possible, as they can often run out of selection times.
