Lightning Lane Multi Pass is a great way to reduce time waiting in line for rides, so you can fit in as much magic as you can.
I'm so excited to hear that you and your group will all have access to Lightning Lane entrances for eligible attractions during your visit. Lightning Lane passes are attached to your theme park tickets and can be accessed in the
Disneyland app. To scan in for each person in your group, you will scan each ticket at the Lightning Lane entrance from the app. Just keep swiping until everyone has been scanned in.
If anyone else will have their phone with them, they can also add their own theme park ticket to the app on their phone. To do this, tap the "☰" to open the menu, followed by tapping the "My Tickets & Passes" tile. Next, tap the "+" in the top right and then "Link Tickets & Passes." From here, I like to use the "Camera" feature to scan the ticket barcode and quickly link the ticket. Once linked, they can use their own ticket to scan in at each Lightning Lane entrance.
Keep in mind that you can
book your first Lightning Lane Entry as soon as you have scanned your ticket at the gate and have entered the park. You can book your next attraction as soon as you have redeemed your selection, or two hours after you've made your selection. I like to set an alarm on my phone for when I can make my next selection to maximize my pass. I also like to prioritize booking some of the more popular attractions that tend to run out of Lightning Lane return times. This includes Indiana Jones Adventure, Space Mountain and Guardians of the Galaxy - Mission: BREAKOUT!
Finally, don't forget that your Lightning Lane Multi Pass also includes unlimited digital downloads of
Disney PhotoPass pictures from the day. So make some time to get that iconic photo in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle to remember all of the magic that you made.
