It's wonderful to hear that Shades of Green is going to be the best option for your vacation because it is a stunning property. Everything from the rooms, to the lobby, to the pools are beautiful, relaxing, and peaceful. Plus, the location is very convenient. It is just minutes to
Magic Kingdom Park and a quick bus ride all around Walt Disney World Resort. I think you are really going to love it.
Each Eligible Service Member is entitled to purchase up to six
Disney Military Salute Tickets to be used by family members and friends. For 2024, options are available for 4-, 5-, or 6-days, with or without the Park Hopper option or the Park Hopper Plus option.
You are correct. For 2024, the published price for a 5-day Disney Military Salute Ticket with Park Hopper option is $389 plus tax. Please keep in mind that prices at participating US military sales outlets can vary just a little. My experience here in Georgia has been that the published price is normally within a dollar or two of the price that we have paid, but I encourage you to check it out.
Since you are staying at Shades of Green, you have two options to purchase your Disney Military Salute Tickets:
1. An Eligible Service Member can visit a participating US military sales outlet to purchase a voucher for the Disney Military Salute tickets. Sometimes these look like a slip of paper. Other times, they are a plastic card. Both styles function the same way. Guests can use the unique ID on the voucher to connect to a My Disney Experience Account to make Theme Park Reservations and continue planning the perfect Disney Day.
Upon arrival at Walt Disney World Resort, the Eligible Service Members in your group simply need to bring the vouchers to the friendly Cast Members at
Guest Relations to convert the voucher into a
Walt Disney World Theme Park Ticket. Then, head into the theme parks and have a magical time!
2. Guests of Shades of Green may pre-order activated Disney Military Salute Tickets by downloading the Ticket Order Form on their website. Simply fill in the required information and email it back to the email address listed at the bottom of the form. Shades of Green will email your tickets to you, which can be linked to your My Disney Experience account. With this option, there is no need for a stop at Guest Relations, though I am sure that they would love to help you!
Don't forget, Theresa, that Eligible Service Members are also offered special pricing on
Memory Maker from
Disney PhotoPass Service. This is the program to pre-purchase all of the incredible photos captured on select attractions and with the talented Disney PhotoPass Photographers around Walt Disney World Resort. Currently, that price is $98! We treasure these photos!
If you decide to add Memory Maker to your vacation, an Eligible Service Member can stop by any Walt Disney World theme park ticket window to purchase.
