Hi Sarah! Thanks for visiting us with your question.
I must say, I do love a challenge! Since I normally don't use a physical
Walt Disney World Theme Park ticket (mine are always linked to my
MagicBand+ for convenience) I have been doing my best to think of what plastic ties might have arrived in your package. I have a couple of thoughts:
Could it be that what you received are luggage tags? These are often adorably themed and have a space to write out your contact information. The plastic section can be looped through a baggage handle and is normally secured by a small, plastic band. These would be a fun surprise!
If you are using physical Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park tickets, could the plastic piece be a lanyard? This is a super-convenient way to carry out the admission cards. You can tap them directly to the "Tap-style" before entering a theme park without the need to remove them from the pouch. Plus, no fumbling for what you need!
Other than those two possibilities, I can't think of what mysterious plastic might have arrived in your mailbox! I do hope that you will follow up with me if those two explanations just don't seem quite right. I feel invested in your magical Mickey Mail!
Sarah, in case you haven't already, I encourage you to link any Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park Tickets that you have to your My Disney Experience account. Consider it a back-up plan in case a physical ticket is prematurely lost. Also, this way you can decide to leave the hassle behind and use a
MagicBand or MagicBand+ to enjoy convenient
Walt Disney World Resort hotel access, easy theme park entry, quick purchases around the property, and more!
I hope that's helpful! I would love to hear from you again, Sarah. Come back and chat with us anytime.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Sally
