I want to book the beach club villas 1 bedroom for my husband, myself, my parents and my 3 year old daughter. The room says it only holds 4 but my daughter sleeps with my husband and I. Would I be able to book this room and still be able to purchase a pkg?

    Hi Adam! Welcome to planDisney!

It sounds like you have one unforgettable vacation ahead of you! Disney's Beach Club Villas is a family favorite for its incredible convenience, dining options (Hello snow crab legs and a Kitchen Sink Sundae!) and, of course, Stormalong Bay. I suspect that your 3-year-old is going to love the sandy beach area. Mine certainly did.

I'm sorry to confirm that the 1-Bedroom Villa will not accommodate your family size, even with your sleeping arrangements. Walt Disney World Resort room capacity limits are firm. Hakuna Matata, (it means no worries) Adam. There is an option that will be wonderful for all three generations of your family.

You could split your party into a Deluxe Studio and a 1-Bedroom Villa, for sure. However, it is actually a better use of points, and more convenient, to book a 2-Bedroom Villa! In fact, a 2-Bedroom Lock-Off Villa is specifically that: a full 1-Bedroom Villa with a connecting Deluxe Studio!

We loved this floorplan when we traveled with our littlest Mouseketeers and grandparents because we had very different schedules. If someone wanted to head to sleep a little earlier, we could easily close a door and carry on. Bonus: you will have a second full bathroom to make mornings and bedtimes much easier.

Just thinking back to that time in our lives has me nostalgic for the quiet stroll back to our Resort Hotel after a big day at Epcot. I'm thrilled that you are about to experience the peace of crossing over the International Gateway, passing by the Disney Skyliner with its signature whirring sound, and mosey along the waters of Crescent Lake as you approach, "Home." It's a place like no other.

I hope this was helpful, Adam. Let us know if you have any other questions! We are here for you.

    -Sally
