Hi Cierra, and thanks for bringing your question to planDisney. I’d be happy to help make your son’s visit as comfortable and fun as possible! So let’s chat about securing
Disability Access Service (DAS).
You can register for DAS through a live video chat up to 60 days before your visit by clicking the Request Live Video Chat button on the
DAS page. Currently, it’s available daily from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Eastern Time. During the chat, you’ll talk to a Cast Member who will determine eligibility for the program. Beforehand, I’d recommend reviewing the requirements on the DAS page since there’s a lot of important information. For instance, you’ll need to link valid theme park admission for each member of your party, and your son will need to be present during the video chat.
Since it looks like you’re visiting Disney World tomorrow, you can also stop by
Guest Relations inside the theme parks to participate in the video conference if that’s easier.
Once approved for DAS, it’s currently valid for the length of your ticket or up to one year, whichever is shorter. After that, you’d need to reapply.
Also, be sure to download the
My Disney Experience app, since that’s the easiest way to make a return time selection on the go. Alternatively, you can always visit Guest Relations or a
Guest Experience Team kiosk (often under a blue umbrella) in the parks.
I’m wishing you and your son a magical time at Disney World tomorrow! And if you have any other questions, you’re always welcome back at planDisney.
