Hiya Ashley!
Welcome to planDisney! I love this question because this is one of my top tips when visiting Walt Disney World Resort!
Please, make every effort to bring your reusable water bottle to Parks and you will get extra brownie points if it is insulated!
The Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules exclude for use in the Parks glass containers except for small containers such as for baby food. There are several water bottle refill stations throughout the Parks. Sometimes you find them near the restrooms or water fountains and sometimes they are standalone stations all by themselves. I like to get several glasses of ice water from any
Quick Service location to help keep my water cold. As a fellow New Yorker, I want to give you a heads-up that the water in the refillable stations and those from the Quick Service location are essentially tap water and will not be the water taste that you are accustomed to. I'm not sure if it's the naturally occurring minerals or something but if you are sensitive to that then you should consider a water bottle with a filter like Brita. I purchased that for my mother-in-law on one trip as she can be a bit particular. It worked beautifully. Another water refill tip, when I am sitting down at a Table Service dining location, I always make sure to ask for extra refills as I use that water to fill up my water bottles.
Since we are on the topic of beverages, I am going to suggest a fun place to get a refreshing beverage. If you are a Star Wars fan and want to feel like Han Solo in Mos Eisley's Cantina then you need to visit
Oga's Cantina in Disney's Hollywood Studios.
Dining Reservations are highly recommended and sometimes there is a standby or walk-up list. It's a highly coveted experience and seating is not guaranteed but I loved even standing at a table with my
Bespin Fizz. I was able to even enjoy it with my kids as they do provide high chairs! The Blue Bantha comes with a yummy Vanilla-Butter Sugar Cookie which my kids loved!
I hope you have a great time and let me know if you have any more questions!
Happy Planning and stay hydrated!
