About Me
I’m a magic-making millennial, creative at heart, storyteller, writer, and a former Disney cast member. I earned my MBA in Organizational Leadership and my passion for people + culture has cultivated a deep commitment to empowering individuals and organizations to find their magic through brand identity, marketing, human resources & operational needs. My love for magic is sprinkled throughout my work and pixie dust runs through my veins. I am proud of my Black and Filipino heritage, and thrilled when I get to see more representation on screen and now in the Parks. Tiana, Moana, and Raya are a few of my favorite characters. “it’s a small world” is personally my favorite attraction, but the holiday overlay song is my favorite version. I love a good Christmas parade because Holidays at the Disneyland Resort are my favorite time of year! I’m a not-so-subtle Disney Adult and I love chatting all things Disney with pretty much anyone who will listen.
About My Family
I love my “little” ohana, and they mean everything to me. My husband, Jeff, is the Carl to my Ellie. Shortly after realizing we’d found our happily ever after in each other, we started our married life adventure over 24 years ago. Within six years, we added five magical little members of our family along the way. Today, most of our children are adults and while parenting looks different, I count it both an honor and privilege to guide and walk this magical journey with them. We’ve created many core memories at Disneyland Resort over the years, it is our second home. Our favorite family attraction is Guardians of the Galaxy - Monsters After Dark at Disney California Adventure. When we aren’t perusing the Parks, many times we experience Disney entertainment in some form on Disney+! We're always up for an adventure and love soaking up all the magic together.
About My Disney Experience
I’ve been surrounded by Disney magic my whole life and blessed to live close enough to visit Disneyland for frequent visits. While Disneyland Resort is my main jam, I’ve been to Walt Disney World Resort, Disneyland Paris, and most recently, cruised on the Disney Dream. From being a guest to cast member, attending Disney Dreamers Academy (both as parent chaperone and media) and covering special Disney events for my blog, my experience with Disney may seem fairly vast. Even so, I am always left in awe and wonder at the inspiration that overcomes me when I step into a Disney-created space. There’s something magical about the innovation and intentionality behind every detail that goes into creating Disney experiences. I am so honored to have experienced all that I have, and grateful my Disney story continues with this newest adventure as a planDisney panelist!
