Hi there, Jimmy, welcome to planDisney!
It’s exciting to hear that you’re planning a visit to the
Disneyland Resort soon. The
SoCal Resident Ticket is a great offer to experience a few days of magic in 2025.
Guests purchasing and using the SoCal Resident ticket must show proof of residency via a valid government-issued photo ID. However, yes, your proof of residency is enough for entrance for a child to use a SoCal Resident ticket. Disney does not ask for IDs for children. It has been my experience that minors do not get ID’d for entrance into the parks whether it’s a special ticket offer or regular admission. However, if you are concerned that your child’s age will be in question, having a copy of a birth certificate would be a good idea, just to be safe.
The great thing about the SoCal Resident ticket is the ability to use three days non-consecutively from January 7 - May 15. You’ll be able to experience the newest attraction,
Tiana’s Bayou Adventure in the reimagined Bayou Country at
Disneyland Park. Be sure to try the new menu
Hungry Bear Barbecue Jamboree if you’re looking to grab a tasty meal.
Hope that helps you get one step closer to the magic, Jimmy. If you have any other questions, you know where to find us! We’re here to help!
Magic awaits,
Camille
