Are 2 years olds and under free? I need help with booking.

    Hi Elizabeth!

Thank you for stopping by planDisney. As a mom of two kids, I love helping families plan their trips to Disneyland Resort! Seeing your young child's eyes light up when meeting Princess Belle or Lightning McQueen is truly a special experience. I am so excited for you!

Kids under 3 years old do not need a theme park ticket. They do need to be added to dining reservations to ensure adequate seating is available for your meal. Dining reservations can be made up to 60 days in advance on the Disneyland Resort website or the Disneyland mobile app. Character Dining is a great way to meet Disney Characters while enjoying a delicious meal. My favorite Character Dining experiences are “Minnie & Friends – Breakfast in the Park” at Plaza Inn and Goofy's Kitchen in the Disneyland Hotel.

You can book a Vacation Package on the Disneyland Resort website that includes your hotel, theme park tickets, Disney Genie+, and more. A deposit is needed to complete your booking, and then you can make payments or pay the package in full up to the date listed in your vacation package. To begin, create a MyDisney account. This can be found by selecting "Sign in or Create Account" at the top of the Disneyland website. Afterward, return to the Disneyland homepage and enter your dates, number of Guests, and hotel preference next to "Price Your Vacation". I enjoy all of the hotels at Disneyland, although the theming and pools at Pixar Place Hotel and Disneyland Hotel are ideal for young kids.

If you need help booking your vacation, you can call the "Vacation Packages" line or find an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner. Disneyland Resort does not maintain a list of these travel planners since they are not employees of Disney. I have located travel agents in the past by asking friends and family, posting in a local mom's group on social media, or just searching for an "Authorized Disney Vacation Planner" in my area.

Halloween Time begins on August 23, 2024! This spooktacular time of year is filled with special events, seasonal decorations, and Halloween additions to some of my favorite attractions. Halloween-related dining packages may also be offered during your visit, such as those that give you access to a reserved viewing area for a seasonal parade.

Elizabeth, I hope this information is helpful. I am happy to help if you have other questions!
