Does a 2 year old requiere an admission ticket?

    Hi there, Giancarlo!

Welcome to planDisney. We're so happy you've stopped by with your question about Walt Disney World Resort theme park tickets! Oh boy... it looks like you arrive at The Most Magical Place on Earth today. Giancarlo, the countdown is over and your enchanting adventure is just about to begin! Before you head to the theme parks, let's discuss theme park admission for the littlest Mouseketeer in your club.

As a parent, bringing your child to the Walt Disney World Resort is an incredibly magical experience. Seeing the wonder of the theme parks through their eyes is so special and memorable! I'll never forget my son's first visit to Magic Kingdom Park at 11 months old. Although he likely won't have those memories, I'll cherish them throughout my lifetime. Giancarlo, I'm happy to inform you that Guests ages 2 and younger do not need paid theme park admission to enter the parks! That's right - your little one will be considered Mickey Mouse's special Guest on this vacation. Theme park admission is required for Guests ages 3 and older, so soak up all the Disney magic you can while your little one is still little (and free)!

Giancarlo, there are many attractions and shows throughout the Walt Disney World Resort that appeal to even the smallest Guests. Little ones usually enjoy parades and stage shows. For example, my little guy has always loved the Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade at Magic Kingdom Park! Be sure to check the Hours & Events Calendar for showtimes and daily entertainment offerings. You'll also be excited to learn that many attractions don't have height requirements and are suitable for infants and toddlers! A few family favorites at Magic Kingdom Park are Dumbo the Flying Elephant, "it's a small world," and the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, but other great options exist in each of the other theme parks, too.

I hope you've found this information helpful, Giancarlo! I'm wishing you and your little Mouseketeer a most magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have any additional questions during your visit, feel free to stop back by planDisney again anytime. We're all ears!

    See ya real soon,

    Lauren
