Season's greetings, Jaeilah!
A warm welcome to planDisney, and thanks for stopping by with your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm so excited to hear you're planning a visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth during the most wonderful time of the year! Early December is one of my family's favorite times of year to visit - the halls are decked for the
holiday season, the weather is usually mild and pleasant, and we have the chance to attend
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!
Jaeilah, I'm sorry to hear that not everyone in your original travel party will be able to make the trip. I understand that changes to vacation plans can be stressful, but not to worry!
Theme park tickets are nonrefundable, but the value paid for a wholly unused, expired ticket can usually be applied toward the purchase of a new ticket in the future, depending on the theme park ticket type. Jaeilah, that means that even if the unused tickets expire, you'll be able to
apply their value toward new tickets for a future visit!
You'll be visiting during the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, Jaeilah! This fan-favorite festival celebrates holiday traditions from around the globe, offering Guests authentic tastes and cultural experiences. If you have the chance, try to catch the
Candlelight Processional, where a celebrity narrator will recite the story of Christmas as a grand and glorious choir performs traditional carols! This year, Guests can also enjoy holly jolly after-hours entertainment at Disney's Hollywood Studios with
Disney Jollywood Nights, a swanky special ticketed event. Imagine the glitz and glam of Hollywood mashed up with the cozy cheer of the holiday season - sounds like a sparkling special celebration, to me!
Jaeilah, I hope you've found this information helpful as you continue to prepare for a very merry visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth. If you have any additional planning questions, feel free to revisit us at
planDisney anytime. We're here to help you make the most of your holly jolly Walt Disney World Resort vacation!
Happy holidays,
Lauren
