planDisney! Your arrival date is right around the corner. You must be bursting with excitement! What a great opportunity for you to spend some quality time with your son after he finishes a fun trip with his school friends.
Personally, I would suggest that you have your son create a My Disney Experience account, link him to your friends and family list, and assign him the tickets that you purchase. Purchasing and assigning tickets right in the
My Disney Experience Mobile App is a cinch. Let’s get started.
If your son has a smartphone, have him download the My Disney Experience (MDE) app. He will be prompted to go through the simple steps to create an account. Once this process is complete, you and your son should both go to your profile by pressing the (☰) and scrolling down to “profile.” You will press “Friends & Family” at the very top of the page and then scroll down to “Add a guest.” For your son, there is a button at the bottom of the profile page that says “Show My Linking Code.” You can then scan his personal link code or manually enter the number displayed. Follow the steps indicated, and he should show up on your friends and family list.
Now press the (☰) again, hit “Tickets & Passes,” and then the blue (+). Press “Select Tickets,” and you’ll follow the instructions to choose which tickets are best for your son. You’ll be able to assign them to him during the purchasing process.
