Hiya, Rachell. Thanks for stopping by planDisney!
Is there anything better than a one-on-one Disney trip? You two will have such a good time, and I have great news for you! Based on the current
Walt Disney World Resort Property Rules, Guests aged 7 and above can board an attraction without an adult. The rules state, "Children under age 7 must be accompanied by a person age 14 years or older." Your idea of waiting in line with her until it is time to board the ride should work nicely. Just let a friendly Cast Member know you won't be riding and they should show you how to exit the queue. They may also ask your daughter directly to verify her age, this is for safety reasons.
Rachell, you may want to inform your sweet girl before the visit that on rides that seat more than one across, she may have to ride next to another Guest. On busy days, Cast Members may fill every available seat and you don't want her to be caught off-guard. If she feels brave, she can even choose to use the Single Rider Line at some of the more popular attractions at the
Walt Disney World Resort, like
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain at
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park and
Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run at
Disney's Hollywood Studios. The Single Rider Line can often be quicker than the posted stand-by attraction wait time so she can pack more thrills into her day!
I hope this information helps, Rachell. Please come back and
ask me any other questions you may have. I'd be happy to help!
See you real soon,
Melissa
