Will I be able to wear my star wars costume in the park on May 17 during the Star Wars celebration?

Greetings, Sarah. Thanks for jumping to light speed over to planDisney!

The Season of the Force is happening now through June 2, 2024, at the Disneyland Resort, and it is an exciting time for Star Wars fans to enjoy some of the galaxy's finest. Have you checked out the Disney Parks Blog Guide to Season of the Force at Disneyland Resort article yet? It outlines all of the fun entertainment and limited-time attractions you can enjoy during your visit. I love Hyperspace Mountain and cannot wait to ride it during my next visit!

The Disney Parks Blog also published a Season of the Force Foodie Guideand the Watermelon Slush with Death Star Glow Cube from Galactic Grill and the Fried Chicken Baos from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo look especially tasty. What out-of-this-world treat will you try?

Sarah, thanks for asking about your Star Wars costume. If you are not attending a Disneyland After Dark: Star Wars Nite special event evening, your costume must adhere to the Disneyland Dress Code, which states that "costumes may not be worn by Guests 14 years of age or older." If attending a special event, there are special event costume guidelines that can be reviewed online. Sarah, I recommend reviewing these guidelines, as I would hate for you to be turned away in your galactic finest. Cast Members have discretion on what is allowed so be prepared with a backup plan, in case you do bring your costume.

I hope this information helps, Sarah. Please come back again soon!

May the Force Be With You,
    Melissa
