I’m on a 3 night Disney wonder cruise out of San Diego. How early can I drop off my bags to a porter. My boarding time is 11:45 but would like to drop off my bags early so I can walk around San Diego before my boarding time.

Hi there, John. Thanks for cruising by with your question!

My family and I took a cruise on the Disney Wonder a year and a half ago and it could not have been more delightful! We loved Pirate Night, the pools, and the numerous soft-serve ice cream cones. You are in for a real treat!

John, unfortunately, bags are not allowed to be dropped off before your Port Arrival Time (PAT) due to safety and security reasons. I know this might be disappointing. However, you might contact one of the nearby hotels and see if you can pay to have your luggage stored with Bell Services. There are also a few local companies - I found one online called Bounce Luggage Storage - that may be able to hold your luggage short-term. You will want to contact them directly.

Before you board, make sure to have the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App installed so that you can start planning all of the amazing things to do once you've boarded. The App will show you character meet-and-greet times, what movies are playing, and what time Cabanas is open. You can also "heart" your must-do activities and the app will send you a notification (if enabled on your phone) once it is time. How cool is that?

John, I hope you have a Wonder-ful time sailing. Please visit us again with any other questions!

    Anchors away,
    Melissa
